A Home, Unwelcome
shadows stretching across
wooden planks of a foyer
solitary lamplight glowing softly
hallway framed in bright white
a child’s handmade teddy bear
lying in the interrupt of light
one buttoned eye, the left went astray
half disappearing
in living room obscurity
